MysteryCinema.Org is a mysterious, interactive, theme based movie experience that is inspired by the buzzing independent cinema scene. Spanning across four genres that we adore, we believe that they would not usually get an opportunity for a screening from our counterparts. We aim to enable you to celebrate those genres and make you feel like you are one of the cast members too!
If you like either of the genre’s Nollywood, Bollywood, Kung Fu or Black Cinema; and you want to watch them in a theatrical setting with a dose of mystery and interactivity; then MysteryCinema.Org is for you.
To give people an opportunity to see a movie classic that has either gone straight to DVD, missed at the cinema, or was released before you were born or old enough to see it on your own.
In the spiritual of keeping dynamic, we will always try to find new venues to showcase the movie event. We will provide you the location before ticket sales.
A MysteryCinema.Org genre event takes place once every four months
We provide Ten film options, one of which we will showcase.
You vote for what movie you want to see and the one with the most votes will one winner
We won’t tell you what movie that won the vote however, we will leave you clues to solve the mystery
Within those clues, we will show you the dress theme for the night.
Attend the screening watch the movie and have a celebration afterwards.
No we are different however, thats not to say that we were not motivated by them which contributed to our decision. Independent cinema events is a growing trend and we found an area that we are extremely passionate about that we felt would not get that attention. We have been influence about different aspects of the growing scene and over time you will see our own identify carve its way through.

WesternExtenstion – The team are responsible for bringing
MysteryCinema.Org to life. They are people from countries all over the world who reside in the west such as West Europe and North America who wish to keep their culture alive. We call them the ambassadors. No matter if it’s a product or service they aim to represent their land by putting their best foot forward.
AfrobeatKaraoke – Like MysteryCinema, AfrobeatKaraoke is an innovation on the current Karaoke Nights that are sweeping the nation.
Cut&Sew – Cut&Sew are currently working on a project that is due to launch later this year however, this has not stopped them from providing us support during our process.
Incandescent Artist – Incandescent Artists play a key role in London’s creative and cultural landscape by promoting a wide range of artists through a series of pop up events. They have been a strong support of what we are and have played a key part in who we should move forward with our venture.
Creative Bubble- Creative Bubble is a subsidery of Incandescent Artists and has contributed with advice towards moving forward with our venture.
TheWorkITCircuit.com – TheWorkITCircuit.com is a fitness agency that aims to help you burn calories, lose weight and get toned, even if you have been to the gym or gone for a jog. They have also played a supportive role in our development to move forward.
Queuelio- Queuelio are currently working on a project that is due to launch later this year however, this has not stopped them from providing us support during our process.
The movie and what to expect on the night
These genres do not get the exposure that the standard Hollywood block buster or straight to dvd film gets and we are about creating that exposure and providing the same sort of cinematic experience to all who join our journey.
We are hoping to at some point and will alert you when that time comes however, you receive free cinema snacks when you attend the event.
Upon entry to the event you will be provide a cinema snacks token that you will submit to the snacks person to receive your snacks
Nollywood, Bollywood, Kung Fu Cinema, Black Cinema
Nollywood is Nigeria’s booming film industry, and is the world’s third largest producer of feature films.
Bollywood is India’s booming film industry, and it’s highly debated that its larger that Hollywood.
These are mainly old school kung fu movies with bad voice over dubs and fancy attire. The story almost always has a hero who wishes to avenge someone and along their journey.
Not to be confused with African Cinema, Black cinema is a celebration of Black movies made in the west or outside of the Motherland. This mainly focuses on movies from the United States, United Kingdom, The Caribbean etc. If you have identified a movie from elsewhere please bring them forward and maybe we can introduce it to a new audience.
Sure you can, at the bottom of the mailing list page you have an option to join as many genres as you wish.
MysteryCinema.Org has no bias, we welcome anyone to any of our suites, and this is an opportunity to explore your horizons.
Nigeria is not the only place in the mother land to create awesome movies. You name it every country within Africa has contributed the increased growth of African Cinema.
The African Cinema Suite is where we will show you footage of the events that were carried out a the showcase.
Bollywood is not the only place in Asia to create awesome movies. You name it every country within Asia has contributed the increased growth of Asian Cinema.
The Asian Cinema and Bollywood Suite is where we will show you footage of the events that were carried out a the showcase.
The Martial Arts and Kung Fu Cinema Suite is where we will show you footage of the events that were carried out a the showcase.

We will pick a number of movies some that are trending at present and some that are not and we upload it to our website for you to vote. The movie with the highest poll is the one that you will watch. The only way to ensure that you get to watch your choice is tell your friends, tell everybody!!!
Although you will not know the name of the movie that was voted, you will have some sorted of idea as we listed the chosen movie out of 10. We will provide excerpts on those movies and links for you to have a rough idea of what you will watch. As for how the showcasing event is carried out, that’s a secret I’m afraid 😉
You will not know the movie that has been chosen and you will be required to figure it out. Also during the night of the event, there will be other thrilling teasers that will engage you more.

We welcome any feedback, we’re sure that participants may not have chosen the particular movie in their vote however, the night is not just about the movie but the whole event and hopefully if the movie didn’t capture you, your experience of the night did.
We want you to see the potential, get involved and have the time of the century creating a platform to further promote the genre you like to a new audience
We will leave you clues throughout the announcement to the showcase. On our website you will be given the opportunity to guess what it is. On the night if you have guessed right you will have the opportunity to be picked as either a winner or runner up.
Ticket will either be on sale here or via EventBrite or Billetto
Here at MysteryCinema.org, we will alert you on our tickets page, all of our associated social media and via email, don’t worry you won’t miss it. Usually ticket go on sale two months before the event so you have plenty of time 🙂
Note: if you have just missed a genre that interests you, I’m afraid you will need to wait for the next cycle however, we do host sub events within the cycle to keep you interested.

We will tell you via social media or our website of the options. There will be a prize for the best dressed that will get voted online, not the night.
Yes, this is an interactive event and in the spirit of getting involved and making this a fun experience for your and the other guest, we provide you information on the movie and the characters and hopefully you can take part in dressing the part. There are a number of characters to choose from. We will also theme the venue out to tie in with the look and feel of the movie.
The viewers are the key to creating a memorable experience by participating and dressing up to the theme of the movie. Sure you won’t know the movie however; we will leave clues on what to wear to enable you to figure it out and have that EUREKA moment when you arrive at the showcase.
You sure can, you may want to see what its all about first before committing to participating next time. You may miss out on feeling like a member of the cast and some additional prizes and bonuses but definitely not on most of the experience.
We aim for you to really get involved with our event. As part of the figuring out process, we will advise you to come dressed to suit the theme of the movie. We believe it adds to the experience and fun element.
